Special Needs Rodeo
An Inclusive Celebration of Skills and Spirit!
Sunday, November 3 | 1:00 PM
Join us on Sunday, November 3rd, at 1:00 PM for a unique and heartwarming event that embodies the true spirit of community and compassion. The Special Needs Rodeo invites individuals with developmental disabilities to experience the thrill of rodeo in a safe and supportive environment.

This extraordinary event provides an opportunity for participants to engage in modified versions of traditional rodeo events while learning invaluable everyday skills that reflect the cowboy lifestyle. Each participant will be paired with dedicated cowboys, cowgirls, and skilled performers who serve as mentors throughout the day’s activities. Together, they will navigate through various rodeo-related stations within the arena, fostering a sense of accomplishment and teamwork.

Exciting activities on the agenda include the stick-horse barrel race, where participants can showcase their speed and skills, as well as the chance to practice roping a dummy steer head – a fun introduction to one of the key skills of ranch life. Participants will also have the memorable experience of riding a horse and learning essential rodeo rules in a friendly, encouraging atmosphere.

The Special Needs Rodeo is more than just an event; it is a celebration of abilities, resilience, and the joy of participation. We welcome everyone to come out and cheer for our participants as they embark on this incredible journey, showing that with support and encouragement, the cowboy spirit truly knows no bounds.

We look forward to seeing you there for a day filled with fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories!
